We help resolve conflicts that involve young people in a number of ways;
- In school – what we call peer mediation where children work with trained mediators to learn about how to manage conflict at school and at home. We offer short taster sessions and schools can then chose the level of further assistance. By learning to manage conflict in their own lives, children can pass on those skills to others by a positive change in the way they handle bullying. Peer mediation has provided some most amazing transformations in schools.
- Parents/school/pupil disputes – friction arises frequently; and that friction can often affect the education and wellbeing of the child. Mediation is successfully used, particularly affecting special educational needs.
