Big Lottery Project Manager

We are seeking someone to join our team and be responsible for managing our Big Lottery Project in Mirfield and Ravensthorpe. The key parts of the job will be to promote mediation, set up a system to manage referrals, organise mediation meetings, develop and support the network of volunteer mediators and report on the project.

To do this, you will need project management skills, experience of community development or community-based services and a good understanding of mediation and conflict resolution. You will be a good communicator, using all media, and be able to build productive working relations with people from all walks of life and backgrounds.

You will have an office base in Horbury with access to computer facilities but as much of the work will be on your own in the local area, you will need access to a car or be willing to use public transport.
